The Swedish vodka brand Absolut has pioneered the field of special edition bottles and keeps setting the bar high. Their latest edition is called Absolut Unique and is something unheard of: 4 million bottles will be distributed into retail – each featuring a unique design!

For the realisation of this ambitious, unprecedented project, Absolut had to completely re-engineer their production plant in Sweden. This involved setting up splash guns and colour-generating machines programmed with complex coating, pattern and placement algorithms to ensure that no two bottles are alike.
