Like its brothers, Carlos I Brandy de Jerez Gran Reserva Pedro Ximénez matured in former sherry barrels. But not in any sherry barrels, but in those in which Pedro Ximenez had previously been bottled from the vine of the same name. These were not only used for ripening, but also for finishing. We owe the complex preparation to Ignacio Lozano, the talented Master Blender.

Look forward to a typical Andalusian brandy with a scent reminiscent of caramelized oak, roasted cocoa and liquorice. On the palate it is very velvety, soft and sweet. Notes of raisins and renewed hints of caramelized oak wood are noticeable. They glide sensually and softly over the tongue and result in a long finish.
