The fabulous quality of Brut Icône from Cattier Champagne has been affirmed by several awards, and the champagne was well received by the Bonvinitas wine guide and magazine. Cattier Brut Icône is rated 90 out of 100 points, and was praised for its invigorating body in particular. Bonvinitas editor in chief Dieter Simon wrote that it “smells like a deep, mysterious cellar with hints of almonds, orange peel, and coconut macaroons; and has a mouth-filling, invigorating body, with juice and depth in the long-lasting finish with a hint of espresso. Beautiful with fish mousse as a starter, with not-too-sweet fruit tarts, or with Christmas cookies.”

The Brut Icône also received the Silver Medal at the Concours Mondial des Vins Féminalise with 14.33 points. At the competition in the French Beaune, around 800 women from around the world tasted a large collection of wines of various kinds. In 2014, the Cattier Glamour Rosé and Brut Blanc de Blanc Premier Cru cuvées already received medals from Féminalise.
