Crown Royal Cornerstone Blend Limited Edition Whisky 0.7L (40.3% Vol.)

After its big success when its Northern Harvest Rye was named 2015 Whisky of the Year, Crown Royal continues to push the boat out with this special release. The Canadian brand was originally created to be given to King George VI on his visit to Canada in 1939. And the new Noble Collection of limited edition whiskies continues this tradition of whisky fit for a king!

The Cornerstone Blend is the first variety of the Noble Collection to be released. It is a blend of three different whiskies – 33% of Canadian rye, 6% of smooth whisky from Coffey Still, and 61% of bourbon-style whisky which has been aged in charred American oak barrels. The blend is oaky on the nose, with cloves and light fruit notes. The flavour is rich and spicy with cherries, vanilla, and red apple. It is smooth and full-bodied, making it the perfect sipping whisky.
