For the 150th anniversary of Bacardí, the Caribbean distillery created an exquisite rum series called the “Facundo Rum Collection”. This collection pays tribute to the distillery founder: Facundo Bacardí i Massó.

Facundo Exquisito Rum

A special blend from the collection is Facundo Exquisito Rum – a piece with a lot of character and elegance. This is an almost perfect blend of different rums that have been aged between 7 and 23 years in oak barrels, which makes this high quality drink a super premium rum of the Bacardí house.
In order to discover the full range of flavours of the drink, it is a good idea to enjoy Facundo Exquisito pure rum or “on the rocks”.

Cask selection

The storage in Jerez de la Frontera barrels gives the different blends a soft body with a lot of character. For even more complexity, the finish takes place in old sherry casks. The result: Facundo Exquisito, a blended rum with an unmistakable taste and a wide range of aromas.

Flavour and aroma

At Nosing, a fruity and rather sweet symphony is played. The main notes are vanilla, ripe cherries and prunes, which are accompanied by nuances of brown sugar.
On the palate, the finish is in sherry casks is to be seen. Clear notes of sherry and raisins combine with intense notes of spice and oak.
Despite its soft appearance, Facundo Exquisito has a high degree of complexity and promises an unmistakable and expressive moment of pleasure.
