Jim Beam Pre-Prohibition Rye Whiskey 0.7L (40% Vol.)

The famous rye whiskey from Jim Beam has been updated with a re-tweaked formula: meet Jim Beam Pre-Prohibition Rye Whiskey. The new rye whiskey has a completely new look. It remains unclear how long this whiskey had been aged, but as it is Kentucky straight whiskey you can be sure it took at least four years.

This Jim Beam showcases a wonderfully light amber colour. In the nose it displays harmonic notes of rye, oak as well as a hint of caramel. On the palate it delivers a soft taste which is characterised by the aromas of vanilla, caramel, notes of roasted cashew nuts and a solid oak base. The finish is not too long, pleasantly dry and sets the last drumbeat on rye.
