Laphroaig 25 Cask Strength
The premium whisky from the house of Laphroaig impresses in particular with its complexity, which it owes to its 25 years of maturation. This takes place in different barrel types (including oak and sherry barrels) and gives the Single Malt an extraordinary complexity.

Nosing
The Blend already inspires in the nose – the complex bouquet impresses with a clear sherry character, which stands in wonderful contrast to the typical peat aromas of an Islay malt. The sweet notes are skillfully balanced by the smoke and rounded off by the light vibrations of the oak.
Tasting
The intense 48.9 % vol. is noticeable, but the alcoholic note, apart from a few molasses peaks, is subtle. On the tongue the rich, full and smoky body of Laphroaig 25 Cask Strength can be noted. The smoky composition becomes very exciting when tar and sherry present themselves and bring the drink into harmony. Towards the end, this taste composition is joined by the fruitiness and spiciness of fully ripe apples.
Finish
The finish surprises once again in a very special way – and even the 25 years of maturation are once again recognizable. The aftertaste is long, strong and spicy – fine nuances of cinnamon come through again and again and lie gently on the palate. A more harsh balance is created by tar, which is accompanied by fine fruit aromas.
