Smell and taste

This noble sparkling wine delights the nose with spicy notes of dried figs and almonds, accompanied by a scent of marzipan, honey and fine French pastries called millefeuilles. The nosing is rounded off by stimulating citrus and spicy notes.
The palate is seduced with fruity aromas of ripe mangoes, preserved bitter oranges and white vermouth, combining with the complex nose to create a sensual experience with intense density and silky texture.

Production

The Pommery Royal Blue Sky (1.5 litres) with a yellow sheen has a lively perlage that makes the anticipation of the first sip rise and is a clear quality characteristic of a good champagne.Royal Blue Sky is based on the balanced assemblage of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay in equal parts. A dosage of 38 grams of sugar per litre corresponds to a demi-sec and is natural for champagnes enjoyed with ice cubes.

Tasting

We recommend enjoying this champagne as a summer drink: In a bulbous glass, such as a red wine glass, with ice cubes, this sparkling wine can be enjoyed nobly. Tapas and other finger food are a good accompaniment. In the 1.5 litre bottle, it is perfect for a summer party!
