The orange label by champagne giant Veuve Clicquot always heralds a beautiful harmony of tradition and quality. The house saw a boom from 1805 on when it was inherited by the founder’s son’s widow Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin-Clicquot, who went on to guide the champagne company into its golden age all by herself. This is the origin of the brand name Veuve Clicquot (“widow Clicquot”). The Ponsardin Brut unites the company’s precepts and beautifully represents the corporate philosophy of giving preference to quality instead of quantity.
The cuvée consists of the wines of 56% Pinot Noir, 16% Pinot Meunier and 28% Chardonnay. Together they result in a fresh champagne which will tickle your senses with aromas of almond blossoms, citrus fruits and apples. Its character can only be described as complex and full-bodied. This champagne is perfect for celebrating a joyful occasion!
