Production

The special thing about the Ron Esclavo XO is that it is a thoroughly Dominican product. The Finos Dominicas alcohol distillery uses its own fresh sugar cane and molasses to guarantee that only Dominican products are used.
Traditional column stills are used for distillation. They represent a light and elegant Spanish rum style. The Premium Rum matures for 12 to 15 years in French and American oak barrels. The Esclavo XO remains on the Caribbean island until the barrel matures and is then shipped all over the world.

Manufacturer

The Danish spirits company 1423 World Class Spirits was founded in 2008. At first it was a hobby of three Danish friends who shared the passion for whisky and rum. The visit of a whisky fair and the purchase of the first cask can be seen as the starting signal for this company, which in the meantime has developed into a successful distributor of premium spirits in Denmark.

Ron Esclavo – the name of this series of different premium rums is translated “Rum of the slaves”. It is meant to remind of all those who had to slave on the sugar cane plantations under the hardest conditions and of those who stood up and fought against slavery.

Scent

On the nose, the Ron Dominicana develops a spicy flavour, accompanied by a slight hint of beeswax. For a harmonious overall picture, aromas of ripe, juicy fruits are added from the background.

Taste

The Ron Esclavo XO presents itself full-bodied and balanced on the palate. Once again, delicious fruits come to the fore, which in the finish convey the taste of the Caribbean with a hint of vanilla and coconut.
