Production

This rum was allowed to mature for over a decade in its Jamaican origin (St. Catherine) in ex-borbon barrels and was then bottled without dilution. The Worthy Park Distillery is one of the few that works with its own sugar cane.

Nosing

Notes of vanilla, banana and chocolate are perceptible, combined with a slightly grassy note.

Flavor

The Worthy Park Single Estate 2006 corresponds exactly to the typical style of a rum from Jamaica: it is very intense and relatively heavy. Sweet and fruity nuances are noticeable, combined with a warm spiciness.
